There are 2 ways to getting from Phuket to Koh Phangan: by plain and boat via Koh Samui; or by bus and boat via Donsak pier.
Best option for getting to Koh Phangan via bus and ferry is using Lomprayah joint ticket. There are two departures a day: at 10:00am and at 12:30pm from Phuket Lomprayah office in Bangkok Road in Phuket Town. Arriving to Thong Sala Pier on Koh Phangan at 5:30pm and 7:30pm. The whole trip takes about 7 hours. Tickets cost THB1400 and should be booked at least two days in advance.
There are 4 flights a day between Phuket and Koh Samui. From Samui airport you can use Haad Rin Queen boat which go from Big Budda pier to Haad Rin beach, it will take 50 mins to get to Koh Phangan.
